I have just completed the third revision of the files supplied to the publisher.

Not re-writing but re formatting.  I clearly didn’t follow the instructions carefully enough and the inner part of the book was too big.

There are minimal illustrations inside the book but they were of a too low resolution so they had to be re-made.

The cover was only one page, then I put in a spine but the book isn’t thick enough for a spine so I had to re-make that as well.

However, it is still only the 19th of January so publishing by February is still possible.

You also need to understand that I have definitely not been working on this every day.  I have many other things which take up my time.

I think that I have only spent about 6 hours all up for the multiple revisions so if I worked faster I would be further advanced.

From my experience with this process so far I am of a mind that it is possible to write and publish your book in a little over 6 weeks if you remain focussed and keep it simple.
