All authors need to find ways of marketing themselves.  Sometimes they need to be quite innovative but if you want to sell more books you have to become better noticed.

This is often even more difficult for wirters of childrens books and stories because there are so many of them.  But I have just been visiting a site which you need to visit.  Upfront disclaimer, this is a free site and obviously I cannot make a brass razoo from that so no I haven’t done any deals with these people.

The site is http://www.smories.com and is based on writers submitting their stories.  Then they have kids read those stories for other kids to listen to.

It’s an easy site to navigate and I was so enthralled by the video of the narrator I actually listened to the whole story.

I haven’t read a whole kids story or listened to one being read by a kid for many years.  I loved it.

Now I have to write and submit a story or two myself.
