Bearly Books has an affiliate program.  For those of you who have no previous experience with affiliate programs here is a short overview.

An affiliate is a person who is paid a commission for generating a sale.

Each visitor you send through your affiliate link is tagged to you and you are credited with any purchases they make for the next year. If they haven’t bought anything in a year there is very little chance of them ever buying anything.

And Example: Jane puts her affiliate link on her blog and Terry follows the link and buys, not the book Jane talked about but another one which caught his eye.  Jane gets a commission of 25% of the sale in her account.

Terry goes back to the site several months later and buys another book.  Jane earns another commission of 25% of the sale.  This time though Terry decides to become a Paid Member and Jane earns a 25% commission of the monthly subscription, every month Terry remains a Paid Member.

You cannot earn a commission on your own purchases but you can see how, with a little bit of link spreading, you could generate significant ongoing income.  How much will depend on you and your efforts but we at Bearly Books have tried to make it as easy as possible for you.

Every person who makes a purchase is automatically also an affiliate.  You can become an affiliate without buying anything just by signing up.  Once you are registered you can access your account and change your password, set your PayPal email address for payment of the commission you earn and generate affiliate links to send people to.

Add these links to your forum sig, at the bottom of every email you send, on any blog you have or any blog comment you make.  You can add the affiliate link wherever you write anything online.  More help to generate visitors from your affiliate links can be found on Mr Bearly’s blog.
