So how’s the challenge going for you?

You may remember the challenge, Challenge for Authors and Readers, I wrote about a few days ago regarding the grammatical error in The Hobbit.  I was wondering about how you were getting on delving into the  story on a more analytical level.

I would be interested in any results you are getting and I’m sure all the other readers of this site would be also.

So, what have you found?  Have you looked?  Did you get so distracted by the story that you forgot to look?

It’s difficult to get published – many in the industry say that less than 1% of would be authors receive an offer from a reputable publisher. Last year I signed my first book deal. This posting reviews the virtual sales and marketing efforts which were used to accomplish this. I worked on a book about virtual businesses for about a year and upon the completion of a basic draft, decided to contact some literary agents.
