The mentor is Ed Dale and he, with friends, runs a free program in marketing on the internet called the 30 Day Challenge.  I did this last year and despite not earning a brass razoo from it I did learn a lot of very useful stuff which clarified my thoughts and gave me the confidence to build and launch this site.

Todays post isn’t so much something I need right now but is something that some of you might need to keep in mind.  The link is here.  The post is all about doing what needs to be done to get the results you want and doing them consistently.

I can help with guidance and information.  Remember I’m doing the same things you are, the only difference betwen me and you is that I have been doing some of this stuff longer.

Oh yeah, I’m also a geek who has been around computers since the early 80s and on the internet since the late 90s.  I have probably done whatever it is you are trying to do and I can gurantee that I have made all the mistakes (and more) that you have.

The reason this site is here today is simply because I decided that I just had to do it.  I have been thinking about this site since the late 90s but kept putting it off because “it’s a huge task, I could spend several years getting it up and going and it still might not work”.

See, a really good excuse.  Nup, I could have had this site running happily for 10 years now but I kept stalling and delaying.  Well no more, as you can see.  All I have to do now is monitor it and keep working on it.

I’ll also have to complete my book(s), promote them, help you and stay focussed.  At the end of this year I’ll report on how we went but I will have at least one of my books completed and published here, a bunch of other projects completed including various reports on how to make all this work, some videos (maybe) and other resources that I have planned.
