More worksheets to help you help your child or struggling reader to learn to read.  These follow on from Easy Reader #1 and are available though the Bearly Books Catalog under the categories of Reading and Writing.

Same very low pricing so everyone can gain the benefit of learning to read.  The worksheets follow on from Easy Reader #1 in the way they are used as well so once you have got that under control, about 2 minutes after you print out the first worksheet, you won’t have any trouble using these either.

There are 40 or so worksheets and exercises split into into 2 zip files because they were over 9Mb in size in a single file and I can only upload 8Mb at a time.

It is important for your beginning reader that they follow the worksheets and, with your help, keep on track.  Do all the worksheets, doesn’t matter if they can do them in 30 seconds.  Repeat them as often as it takes for them to grasp the simple process.

What you’ll notice is that these are not your normal worksheets.  We don’t start at one end of the alphabet and work through each letter, we work through groups of similar sounds and groups of similar shaped letters.

I have found that learners pick this up faster than the traditional way of working through the alphabet with all the letters and then working with simple words.

You will see that there are similarities to the traditional ways but not the same path.
