No I don’t have anything to report as yet and it is nearly February.

All I can do is wait for the book to arrive.  Should be here soon and I’ll let you know how it is when it gets here.

Despite the very likely fact that I am going to miss my own self-imposed deadline to write and publish a book by February 2011 it will be done by the end of February 2011 which is close.

That is one of the interesting things about goal setting, without a goal we achieve very little.  With a goal we achieve a lot more.  It seems to me that the issue is not the acheivement of the goal that we get hung up over it’s the time frames we set ourselves.

Often, if we miss a target date for a goal, we beat ourselves up for missing the date when we should be celebrating the achievement itself.

So I won’t be giving myself any grief over not getting published by February.  I still will have managed getting a book, which wasn’t thought of or started in November 2010, published in hardcopy format in 3 1/2 to 4 months.

Yes I might be getting a little pre-emptive but I’m not expecting any issues.

So what’s your goal for 2011?  Are you going to complete that book and get it published?  Are you going to continue to make excuses for not doing what you claim to want to do?

I think I’ll write another couple of books to go with the antenna book and build a website to go with them.  I have nearly completed the construction and fitout of my new shed in the back yard, electricity installed yesterday.

Within a month I’ll have everything set up and ready for operation.  I will begin building the antennas I have been designing as a hobby so I can sell them on my website and my antenna books will help give me credibility in the marketplace as an expert.

I’ll still work on this site and trying to help you write and publish your books.  There are over 100 of you who have joined as members and nominated yourselves as authors and yet I see no evidence that you have any intention to write anything at all.

2011 has to be your year to take action.  You call yourself an author, become one and write.
